The waves that crashed the rocky shores;
The shining sun that rose;
The baby in white- traipsed by
As the world in slumber, dogged.
Her raven hair in the wind,
Hew like the learners new,
Her alabaster skin and lissom links-
Seen from afar by few.
Why doth she stand beside the sea?
Where doth her vision stray?
In such unearthly hours of dawn,
Why doth she walk this way?
The countless stars that still do cling,
To the early morning sky...
Mayhap they know the baby fair,
Mayhap, the reason why....
In little held hours ago,
Went his love and lord
He fell to the cleaver of his foe-
He had crossed death's long ford.
But woe on world, he hardly knew...
She now was a heaven's star
He waited and he waited long
For sight of ship afar.
How long shall he be in this state?
How long shall his patience run?
His crystal tears that flow in spate,
Wait for his beloved one........
